Bravo!

We could have a discussion regarding Barney based on statistics. I presented his high BABIP as a reason that his current high batting average will likely fall. You could have cited some defensive statistics that prove Barney is better than I have observed. I don't believe there are any, but you have the opportunity to prove me wrong. But instead you want to spew insults. I am, and I am sure everyone else is, quite impressed.

Have a good day.FrankSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583753.post-51130937883431610482011-07-20T23:50:20.269-05:002011-07-20T23:50:20.269-05:00Darwin Barney is a singles hitter who won't ta...Darwin Barney is a singles hitter who won't take a fricking walk. His ability to get on base depends almost entirely on his ability to hit the ball where somebody isn't. Right now, 33% of his BABIP are hits, but that success rate is extremely lucky and most likely will not continue. And his defensive stats are nothing great either.

He isn't the worst player in the world and certainly every starter can't be a superstar. I do expect that his performance is going to decline as his luck evens out or the league figures out how to pitch him better.

At any rate, did you have a great wheat crop this year?FrankSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583753.post-16426824270692188912011-07-20T12:16:05.745-05:002011-07-20T12:16:05.745-05:00I'm sure you didn't cry when your dog died...I'm sure you didn't cry when your dog died either.FrankSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583753.post-16081733022310425072011-07-19T09:23:03.801-05:002011-07-19T09:23:03.801-05:00you homos make me cryyou homos make me cryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583753.post-49453114002355735322011-07-17T22:33:53.396-05:002011-07-17T22:33:53.396-05:001. Jim Hendry is still Tim Wilken's boss. I would guess that Jim and perhaps Tom Ricketts give Tim direction on the draft plan. I haven't seen too much success with his picks with the Cubs so far. I fear that Darwin Barney will be Ryan Theriot II minus the need to be the center of media attention.

3. I saw the movie tonight. I enjoyed it, although I thought it had several boring passages. There were a few people who cried. I'm not going to laugh at them. People develop emotional attachments to these characters. We wouldn't be fans if we didn't. We watch movies because they can make us think, laugh and cry.FrankSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583753.post-26602826693770618982011-07-17T14:56:19.308-05:002011-07-17T14:56:19.308-05:00Geez.
