Soft Toss

Prior threw about 30 pitches off a flat surface (no mound) yesterday. That means he's about 3 to 4 weeks behind as he should have been doing this just after Valentine's day. At least he's throwing and I have no reason to think that he's hurt much worse that just an owie on the ankle.

But if Baker makes some news about McCarthyism or how players of Latin descent are better adapted for dome play or some other non-sequitur, my Mark Prior Injury Distraction Alarm will go off.
