I agree that Hendry needs to leave. It's just ill advised to bring someone else off the street and hand them the keys 2 weeks before the trade deadline.

The correct move IMHO, is to get to the off season. Find out who will be available that might be employed and unavailable right now. And make a list of candidates accordingly.

We aren't trading Ted Lilly or Derrick Lee for a 20 year old Willie Mays at this point anyway. So picking the right GM going forward is much more important than giving the fans their "Pound of Flesh" right now.
